Biafra; the killing of Nnamdi Kanu, will be another shot that will be heard around the world

By princephoenixx@gmail.com

–Due to the current tension in the country and the irretrievable demands by the IPOB, the federal government of Nigeria is set to arrest Nnamdi kanu, the leader of IPOB.

–the worries of many is not whether he will be arrested or not. What they are afraid of is what my play out when they want to arrest him, or the state of the nation if he dies during or after the arrest.

–history has thought us how the death of some persons changed the world and initiated a bloody and brutal conflict. Therefore, its pertinent the Nigeria government thread with caution.

Kill kanu and watch the world boil.

“First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.”___ Mahatma Gandhi

The above quote was inspirationally coined by Gandhi. He and his acolytes successfully chased the British people out of India, restructured Indian’s economic policy and paved way for a better India, the world came to know today.

The phrase “shot heard around the world” was made popular by a poet, Ralph Waldo Emerson. No shot can actually be heard around the world, but history has told us that certain events unfortunately led to crisis that the whole world later felt. Some which includes the killing of 8 Americans by British troops in Lexington that actually propelled the American Revolution of 1775 and the Assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria in 1914, that actually started the First world War.

Another ” shot that will be heard around the world” will be if the Nigeria government knowingly or unknowingly kills Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. The Director of Radio Biafra, who by extension also doubles as the indefatigable leader of IPOB (indeginous people of Biafra). He was great as a free man but became greater behind walls, and is beyond limit now that he is out.

Message to the international community

World leaders and the international community should be wary, cos if the young man dies in the process of forceful arrest, they should endeavor to open their borders because they won’t be containing the refugees from Middle East alone. I think the best they should do now is to call the Nigeria government to put aside and should place guns, tanks and force on the alter of dialogue, to avert the inevitable. The federal government shouldn’t forget in a hurry that killing Mohammed Yusuf (former leader of Boko haram), made them what they are today.

Kanu’s resolve

Whilst in detention, Kanu was Locked in the dark cell of Kuje prison, away from friends, family, well wishers etc. without trial. his wings kept flying with colors of the rainbow, resonating tenacity, courage, wisdom, defiance and doggedness. The federal government became uncomfortable while running out of ideas on how to quail the sudden surge of IPOB world wide. IPOB swept the globe in an unprecedented and never seen before rally and protests.

Despite the intimidation, arrests, murder, etc. they threw caution to the wind because their anthem is “Biafra or Death”. One who is down need fear no fall, the Igbo nation has been made to eat from the crumbs. therefore, is either they fight to correct the anomaly or they all die trying.

After they failed to make kanu renounce his yearning for a ” Sovereign State of Biafra”, by promising him all what not, he remained resolute to his quest. They decided to create a scene in the prison, call it a jail break or prisoners unrest and then kill him. He succeeded all their clandestine plots to kill him until he was eventually released.

Now that he is out and still flying the colors of Biafra as never before, they still want to arrest and tuture him again or kill him eventually.

IPOB Stands.

The world is enjoying relative peace today because some persons woke and turned things around . Saint Anthony of Padua, Thomas Aquinas, our Lord Jesus Christ, Mother Teresa, Rosa Park, Malcom X, Martin Luther King Jr, Thomas Jefferson, Nelson Mandela, etc. all fought for what they believed in. So why would someone say kill him, when Nnamdi kanu is fighting for what is legitimate, backed by local and international laws. What the young man is professing is an ideology that can’t be killed, he didn’t fight the Biafra war, but he is here rebuilding her cracked walls. The only way to kill an ideology is to counter it with a higher reasoning and philosophy, instead of the application of force and subjugation.

World leaders should watch out and do the the needful. UN, EU, AU, UK the United States of America won’t say they don’t know about what is going on in Nigeria and what is to come. But They will be quick to tag a group a “terrorists organization” but won’t hear them out when they are not yet armed….

The world should know that the best OPOB member is the dead one, therefore, they are not afraid of deaths and threats anymore because many have already died. If kanu dies or should any harm come to him, Somalia will better than Nigeria just like he earliar predicted.

I rest my case as usual.
