IPOB: Nnamdi Kanu's Abduction By The Nigerian Army And The Media Deception: A Moral And Professional Fickleness

5th October 2017

It could be recalled that few months ago, Family Writers Press published an article where it was quoted verbatim that the reason for the general under development in Nigeria is purely due to the professional and moral fickleness on the shameless conducts of the Nigerian media. This is because any society where there is no media outlet which abide by the tenets and ethics of journalism, such society is doomed and has no future. The Nigerian society is likened to that society which has no future because her  media outlet is a disgrace to Nigerians in information dissemination.

It is good that Biafra media outlets such as Radio Biafra London, Family Writers Press and many others have been vindicated by observers as we continue to describe Nigeria media outlets as "Brown Envelop" media. Nigeria media houses have descended into infamy because you hardly differentiate between truth and lies in their media information dissemination.  It is built on "write and collect" brown envelop pattern of journalism.

The Nigeria media houses are presently opening up the rot in them for Nigerians, international community and the world at large to see their wickedness as they are gradually reneging from their widely reported Nigeria military siege and invasion of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's home where Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was abducted by the  army and taken to unknown destination even though the army is playing by claiming that Mazi Kanu is not in their custody. The world must recall that in the bid for these media houses to make the world know that the overzealous Nigerian Army has conquered Nnamdi Kanu and decimated IPOB, Nigeria media houses widely reported the military invasion and the barbarity of the army at the home of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu which took place on September 14, 2017.

Chief among the media houses in Nigeria which reported the evil of the Nigerian Army  were Channels Television, Vanguard Newspaper, Guardian Newspapers, Naij, TheNation Newspaper, Punch Newspaper and many others. Soon, the Nigeria media will descend into the valley of infamy as they have obviously mortgaged their professional ethics just because of "Brown envelops" and "Ghana Must Go" bags of money from Defense HQs, DSS and the Nigerian Government as the trio may be walking on tight ropes at the moment due to the extra-judicial blunder and court contempt committed by them in attacking Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's home in Umuahia and whisking him away to an unknown destination. The media widely reported the declaration of the military to have defeated IPOB but vehemently, refused to report the fact that the military killed innocent and unarmed harmless Biafrans . Also, the Nigerian media equally reported that petrol bomb was recovered from  Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's home by the Nigerian army who invaded the compound. This is a proof that the army officers deployed in Umuahia indeed invaded Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's residence.

With the shameless denial lately by the Nigerian Army that they were not the armed forces who invaded  Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's residence even as the activities of the Nigerian army was properly covered and documented by IPOB's intelligence unit and IPOB eagle-eye media team, any reasonable person in the world will understand that indeed Ozubulu Church massacre was actually carried out by the Nigerian army. There is no better way to describe the military other than that they are good at committing crimes and denying same.  As for the Nigerian army hierarchy, IPOB does not have much to say about them. They are going to meet with IPOB's erudite legal Team in court come October 17th. Nigerians should worry about the media practitioners in Nigeria who have sold their conscience to the devil as they always side with the evil doers at the corridors of power just because of huge financial inducement from Aso Rock. The Nigerian media houses have sacrificed the ethics of journalism such as truthfulness, accuracy, neutrality, investigations and transparency in information dissemination since the tyrannical regime of Gen Muhammadu Buhari set in.

For these media houses to begin to renege in their widely reported military siege and invasion of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's home to fabricate lies now against IPOB and support the Nigerian Army officers to deny the invasion  of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's residence is the reason why Nigerians should completely boycott Nigeria media outlets. They are leading Nigerians to darkness and falsehood. The publications of these media houses where they support the broad daylight lies of the Nigerian army is the height of professional and moral fickleness in the Nigerian media of shame. If Nigerians are still gullible at all  the caricature by the media,  then Nigerians are intellectually morons because all of them read the reports of the military invasion at Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's home.

These days, the media outlets in Nigeria help the Nigeria Army to deny their recent publications.

As the media houses have shown the world that everything in Nigeria is built on lies including the media itself, Biafrans are not surprised by all these caricature.  Biafrans have been vindicated as we have constantly accused the  media outlets in Nigeria of nothing than "Brown Envelop journalism". The world could recall that the same tyranny meted on the Indigenous People of Biafra  in Aba, Umuahia and Obigbo by the Nigerian army which the media  shielded from reporting was also tasted by the Nigeria Union of journalist, Abia State office in Umuahia, yet the practitioners have not learned anything from it. Nigerians should completely boycott Nigeria media outlets because they report falsehood these days. I rest my case!
