For that reason, the United States of Biafra (USB) has written to the British Prime Minister, Keir Starmer at 10 Downing Street, London SW1A to inform UK that the amalgamation they initiated to wedge all nations together in Nigeria has ended according to the amalgamation document. Years back when Britain was informed that amalgamation has ended, it was through the British Embassy in Nigeria. At that time, Paul Arkwright was the British Ambassador to Nigeria. Then, Britain was informed about the concluded amalgamation of Nigeria and that Biafra will be moving on, quitting as a result that it is over hundred years ago that the agreement was made. At that time of writing to inform them, the British Ambassador then in Nigeria was Paul Arkwright. Mr Paul Arkwright thought it was a joke and told Biafrans that if they breakaway, the British will fight them. Thus, the amalgamation of Nigeria didn’t have the people’s interest at heart when Lugard drafted the merger project and in so doing, have caused confusions to many indigenous nationalities. The amalgamation of Nigeria occurred in 1914 by the British combining many peaceful non-conflicting indigenous nationalities together with the agreement that after100 years, if things do not work out, those ethnic groups are free to leave. Despite the fact that, those ethnic groups that the agreement were made for, had not been consulted, and the British did not seek their consent when the unification was being created had lead to many misunderstandings. Since the unification, all indigenous nationalities have spent much of their times fighting each other. Considering the fact that various indigenous nationalities had been in existence for centuries living in harmony with one another prior to the amalgamation. Whilst the British is coming to be claiming the credit of parturition the country in 1914, when these ethnic groups have been in exitance centuries before the British came.
